SSC MTS Exam Date 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release application statuses and admit cards for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) examination 2025-26, which will start from 4th February 2026 onwards in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates can check their application status and download their admit cards from their respective regional SSC websites.
The Staff Selection Commission is conducting the MTS examination for the posts of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) to fill a total of 8,021 vacancies. Of these total recruitments, 6,810 vacancies have been fixed for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and 1,211 vacancies for the post of Havildar.

SSC MTS Exam 2026 Selection Process
All the candidates must have complete knowledge of the selection process of MTS & Havaldar Recruitment. The selection process of recruitment is conducted by the Commission in three stages – in the first phase there will be a computer examination, in the second phase physical standard test (only for constable posts) and the third phase in the form of document verification, etc. SSC MTS & Havaldar Selection Process consists of the following steps –

- Physical Efficiency Test (PET/PST) for Havaldar Post

Exam Pattern and Marks Distribution
The SSC MTS selection process includes a written exam followed by document verification. The written exam is divided into two papers: Paper I is a computer-based test (CBT) with multiple-choice questions, and Paper II is a descriptive test designed to assess English language skills.
Paper I is worth 100 marks and includes sections on General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness. Paper II is a qualifying exam, requiring candidates to score at least 40% to advance to the document verification stage. As the exam progresses, candidates should regularly visit the SSC regional websites for updates on their application status and the release of admit cards.

How to Download the SSC MTS Admit Card 2026 Region-Wise?
- Visit the official website of the Commission at ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘Download’ link MTS Admit Card Status/Admit Card Status for Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havildar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025-26.
- Enter the registration number or roll number and date of birth in the blank field.
- Your SSC MTS Admit Card will be displayed on the screen – download it and take a printout.
SSC MTS Exam 2026: Exam Centre Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates will have to bring the original photo identity card or official government certificate identical to the date of birth printed on the admission certificate during the examination.
- Suppose the date of birth mentioned in the original photo identity card/official certificate issued as proof of admit card does not match the date of birth. In that case, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
